Located 8 south of Perth, Esperance is one of Perth's best kept secrets and boy is it worth the drive!
Whether you're a thrill seeker or after a relaxing getaway Esperance has got you covered all year round with activities. The regions crystal waters and rich active of unique marine life lends itself well to memorable snorkelling experiences.
Visiting in n the chillier months? Esperance is the perfect location for Whale watching as the gorgeous giants make their way up the West Australian coast from June to October for migration each year.
Start your visit with a down 'Great Ocean Drive', where you'll be able to see almost everything this picturesque town has to offer. The drive is filled with scenic views of over the vast open beaches, the famous Pink Lake, observatories and plenty of walking trails. Here you'll find tonnes of famous beaches all uniquely beautiful such as Twilight Cove (Pictured above), Salmon Beach and Ten Mile Lagoon.
Head 30 minutes outside of town and you'll find Cape Le Grand National Park. The park is filled with even more pristine beaches including Lucky Bay - Australia's Whitest Beach. The Cape has plentiful hiking trails perfect for the wildflower season during September to November.
So, if you're not already packing your bags and heading south make sure to add this gem to your bucket list to experience it first had because there truly in no place like Esperance!
